Get a phone number for your WhatsApp communication
You need a dedicated phone number for your WhatsApp Business account. This number will represent your business in all WhatsApp communication with customers.
- The number must be able to receive SMS and/or phone calls for the verification process.
- It must not have been used with any WhatsApp account previously.
If you don’t have a suitable phone number, you can simply obtain a new one (e.g., a new SIM card from your telecom provider) or use a free U.S. number provided by WhatsApp during the setup process.

Verify your Meta Business account
